Guides students in their social, physical and emotional development. The curriculum uses Units of Inquiry within an IB World School framework, with half the subjects taught in English and half in Spanish, integrating cooperation and teamwork into daily activities. Cooperation and teamwork are essential to day-to-day activities. Our aim is for students to learn in both languages to enhance comprehension, using language as a vehicle for understanding.
A personalised reading program includes reading specialists who work with students at least three times a week. Handwriting specialists provide individual or small‑group support for younger students.
Total immersion into English in Preschool. A high number of native English speakers provides a linguistic model for Spanish speakers learning English. A specialist is available from grades one to four to facilitate the transition of international students into the bilingual programme and the adaptation to SEP (Mexico's Secretaría de Educación Pública). From Kinder I to First Grade, instruction is structured to support bilingual learning as units of inquiry are taught half in English and half in Spanish.
The programme is designed to guide students in their social, physical and emotional development. The school addresses concerns through solution‑oriented meetings involving parents, teachers, the principal, and the school psychologist when needed. Fortnightly self‑assessments are sent home to engage parents in monitoring well‑being. The Ib World School framework emphasizes learner traits such as caring, balance and reflection as part of the overall well‑being strategy.
Discipline aligns with the IB learner profile, promoting reflection and respect for rules. A strong home–school connection supports child well‑being, with parents involved through regular communications and meetings when concerns arise (involving teachers, the principal and, at times, the student and the school psychologist). The school is an official IB World School, reinforcing structured, standards‑based safeguarding and educational practices.
