Located in Jakarta, Tzu Chi School – PIK is a private SPK school following the Indonesian national curriculum with international standards. It serves students from ages 2 to 18, with learning organized by stage: Early Years, Primary School and Secondary School. Early Years blends the National Curriculum with Ren Wen Humanistic Education and uses Pearson iPrimary digital resources. 1. The school accepts applications for Nursery 1 (N1) through Grade 11, and the admission process usually starts in September each year. The application form is accessed on the designated date from the Tzu Chi School website and is paid when lodging the application. The school conducts an observation test for Early Childhood (N1, N2, K1, K2) or an entrance test for Primary and Secondary; results are communicated by phone or email, or via the school website within the specified timeframe. The status can be accepted, wait listed, re-testing, or denied. 2. Accepted students will receive an Acceptance Letter within two weeks after the exam or observation. Final confirmation of school places is conditional upon payment of the registration fee, admission fee, and tuition. 3. There are orientation events for students and/or parents before the school starts, with the schedule notified later. Parents are informed about the designated dates for the distribution of school uniforms and supplies. 4. Registration documents are required. National Students must provide: 3 latest color photos (3x4 cm); copy of the last 3 years' school report card; copy of Birth Certificate; copy of Family Card; copy of parents' ID; copy of Vaccination Record; 1 full-body color photo; and copy of student's and parents' passport. International Students must provide: 3 latest color photos (3x4 cm); copy of the last 3 years' school report card; copy of Birth Certificate; copy of Family Card; copy of parents' ID; copy of Vaccination Record; 1 full-body color photo; copy of student's and parents' passport; copy of student's and parents' KIMS / KITAS / SKLD; and a Permit Letter to study in Indonesia from the Education Ministry after acceptance; for Grade 10–11, a legalized English transcript is required.
