Beacon Academy is an international school in North Jakarta serving students 3 to 18. The curriculum blends the IB Primary Years Programme, Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme, preparing students for tertiary study. Admissions

1. Visit the School. Attending a school tour is a valuable step toward getting to know Beacon Academy and meeting key staff. A tour helps families understand the school's programs and culture. This step supports families in assessing fit with the school.

2. Apply for Admissions. Complete and submit the Admissions Form along with supporting documents. You will receive a letter confirming the receipt of your application. Assessments and interviews will then be arranged by the Admissions Team.

3. Admissions Activities. The Admissions Team will contact applicants regarding the enrolment process. For preschool, the enrolment process involves an observation session for the child. For Years 1 and up, the enrolment process includes a guided or individual assessment and an interview.

4. Offer and Acceptance. The application will be reviewed and an enrolment decision made. You will be notified in writing. A student's place is secured when the enrolment documentation and the non-refundable deposit have been paid.

Scholarships

Beacon Academy Scholarships 2024-2025 for students in Middle School and Senior School. The aim of the Scholarship program is to recognize high-level achievement and enthusiasm for learning in their specific criteria, with the opportunity to develop their full potential. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, leadership potential, special talents or other personal traits in students. We offer three types of Scholarships, candidates can hold a maximum of one scholarship: Academic Scholarship; Sports Scholarships; Arts Scholarships. Scholarships cover the duration of a student's continued enrolment in middle and senior school, subject to satisfactory performance and progress.

Requirements include: relevant Academic and English entry requirements; a limited number of Scholarships available; students must accept the Letter of Offer within 5 working days, otherwise the scholarship offer will be withdrawn. How to Apply: 1) Fill in the Scholarship Application Form. 2) You will receive an email with a Scholarship Docket and required documents for submission. 3) Take a placement Test (Math & English) and an Interview (by appointment). Waitlist

Beacon does not adopt a chronological waiting list. The enrolment process is open all year round, and parents are encouraged to apply early to avoid disappointment. Sibling priority on the waiting list is given to families with a child at Beacon, but this does not guarantee a place.
