Windermere Prep offers boarding for Grades 7–12 in a private residential village of converted townhouses, minutes from classrooms and sports facilities. Full-time dorm parents and residential assistants supervise wellbeing, safety, and nightly study time. Each townhouse has three large bedrooms and social spaces, with weekend activities and chaperoned trips during Thanksgiving and Spring Break; a dorm security system supports safety. Boarding is offered in five-day and seven-day options, with some breaks requiring students to vacate the dorms.

One set of school uniforms is provided, including five tops, four bottoms, an Oxford shirt, blazer or vest, and a tie (boys only). Outerwear and the physical education uniform are included.

The dining hall offers nutritious meals with global options and accommodates dietary needs; meals are served in the Laker Cafe. Flik Dining Services operates the dining program and prepares meals from scratch using locally sourced ingredients.

The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in high school and is the only private school in Central Florida to offer the IB. The high school curriculum includes Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, with the IBDP serving as the primary pre‑university program; IB courses are organized into six groups: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, World Language, and the Fine and Performing Arts. The Middle School exposes students to core subjects—math, language arts, science, social studies, global languages, and physical education—with an option to explore fine arts. The Lower School covers reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, life skills, and character development, with enrichment in music, art, drama, Spanish, dance, chorus, band, strings, and related activities.
