Asheville School is a co-educational boarding school in Asheville, North Carolina, founded in 1900. The school draws students from 25 countries and 16 US states. Originally a boys' school, it became co-educational in 1972 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The curriculum spans six departments: Arts, English, History, Mathematics, Science, and World Languages, with advanced courses available in each. A distinctive mountaineering programme takes advantage of the school's location in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
