Cambridge International AS Levels, Cambridge A Levels
The Lyceum opened in 1987 and is located in Karachi's Old Clifton neighbourhood, in a historic building that supports a warm, close-knit school community. The school offers a two-year Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE) program for A-Levels, with subjects including Accounting, Art and Design, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, History, English General, English Language, English Literature, Further Mathematics, Global Perspectives and Research, Law, Mathematics, Politics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology and Urdu. Instruction is conducted in English. The Lyceum has a track record of CAIE results and high achiever recognition across decades, and provides mentoring, college counselling and university placement support. The school emphasises experiential learning through a strong co-curricular program and has been a Round Square member since 2010, reflecting its commitment to global citizenship and service. It also hosts a fully equipped STEM programme with a fabrication lab (Lyceum STEM Programme) and a range of student societies such as LySias (journalism), LyTheatre (theatre) and LyTech (technology).
