The Psychology and Counseling Department addresses the socio-emotional needs of students and any learning barriers through brief psychological interventions with pedagogical resources and strategies. If needed, students may receive extra support from licensed educational psychologists or neuropsychopedagogists, working with students and families to ensure appropriate steps are taken. The school creates an inclusive environment and develops action plans to help students develop skills and multiple intelligences; an individual educational plan may be developed as needed. In High School, career counseling is provided, including guidance on choosing careers, applying for scholarships, getting into college, and analyzing data.

An individual educational plan (IEP) may be developed to support students with learning barriers. The department coordinates with teachers and families and, when needed, involves licensed educational psychologists or neuropsychopedagogists to support learning and development.

Language Acquisition Support Program (CLASP) provides three levels of language support to help students become proficient in their second language. Level 1 offers 2–3 hours per week of in-school ESL/SSL support; Level 2 provides conversational electives in English and Spanish for 1 hour per week; Level 3 offers private ESL and SSL classes after school (two one-hour sessions weekly) for more intensive language study. Levels 1 and 2 are included in tuition, while Level 3 requires an additional fee. The program encourages parents to enroll students in all three levels to maximize language acquisition.

You must fill out an admissions form, providing information for the evaluator. The form collects data to support the evaluation.
