- Non‑refundable registration fee: KES 5,000, payable when returning a completed registration form.
Deposits and refunds
- One‑off refundable deposit for day pupils on joining: KES 15,000. Refund of the deposit (or balance) is made at the end of a pupil's final term after clearance by the headteacher.
- Boarding deposits (where shown separately): KES 10,000 (charged once on joining boarders).
Tuition fees — annual and per‑term (by year group)
Note on billing frequency: Years 11, 12 and 13 are billed in two tranches (August and December). All other year groups are billed in three tranches (August, December and April). Per‑term amounts below are calculated from the published annual tuition and the billing frequency above.

Other costs and regular additional charges
- Activity fees are charged separately and notified by the school as required.
- Examinations and enrolment charges (where applicable) are not included in the published tuition, lunch, transport or boarding figures.
- Family discounts on tuition (applied on bills): 2nd child 10%; 3rd child 20%; 4th child 30%; 5th & subsequent child 40%. Transport family discount for siblings on the same route: 50% for the 2nd and each subsequent sibling.
Billing schedule, discounts, late payment and notice
- Standard billing: three tranches for most years (August, December, April); Years 11–13 billed in two tranches (August, December).
- Early payment discount: 3% on tuition when full payment is made within six days of the due date.
- Late payment surcharge: 1.25% per month on overdue amounts.
- Withdrawal notice: A full term's written notice, acknowledged by the headteacher, is required for withdrawals. If valid notice is not given, a full term's fees are payable in lieu of notice.
- The Board may alter fees on five months' notice.
Refund information
- The registration fee is non‑refundable.
- Refundable deposits are returned at the end of the pupil's final term after clearance by the headteacher; deductions may be made for losses or breakages.
Fee payment options
- Braeburn schools commonly accept bank transfers (direct payment into the school bank account), MPesa paybill, cheques and other electronic transfers; parents are asked to inform the Fees Office when a direct electronic payment is made. Accepted payment methods at Braeburn campuses include bank deposit/transfer and MPesa paybill (details vary by campus).
Practical notes on invoicing
- In certain year groups with limited vacancies a 20% advance payment of the tuition fee may be required against the first term's invoice; that advance is not refundable if a confirmed place is not taken up.
