Application / registration fees
- Registration fee (paid via the OpenApply application): DKK 2,000 — non-refundable.
- One-time admission fee charged on acceptance (separate from the OpenApply registration fee):
- Year 1–11: DKK 3,180 (one-time admission fee).
- IB Diploma Programme (Year 12–13): DKK 1,615 (one-time admission fee).
- Early Years: DKK 2,190 (one-time admission fee).
Tuition fees by school years (monthly and annual equivalents)
- Tuition is invoiced and paid over 12 months (monthly amounts shown below). Annual totals are monthly × 12.
- Year 1–11 (Primary & Secondary/Cambridge pathway): DKK 3,180 per month — DKK 38,160 per year (12 months).
- IB Diploma Programme (Year 12–13): DKK 1,615 per month — DKK 19,380 per year (12 months).
- Early Years: DKK 2,190 per month — DKK 26,280 per year (12 months).
- Before- and after-school care (SFO Svanereden): DKK 1,500 per month, billed over 11 months — equivalent DKK 16,500 per year (11 months). Small additional charges may apply for certain events or excursions.
Per-term equivalents (school bills monthly over 12 months)
- The school's published model is monthly billing over 12 months rather than term billing. For reference only, equivalent amounts if expressed over a typical three-term academic year (calculated for convenience) are:
- Year 1–11: DKK 12,720 per term (equivalent; DKK 38,160 ÷ 3).
- IBDP: DKK 6,460 per term (equivalent; DKK 19,380 ÷ 3).
- Early Years: DKK 8,760 per term (equivalent; DKK 26,280 ÷ 3).
- SFO (11-month billing): DKK 5,500 per term (equivalent; DKK 16,500 ÷ 3).
Note: these are simple arithmetic equivalents; the school's invoicing and contractual terms are monthly (12 months) for tuition and 11 months for SFO.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is payable over 12 months for standard school tuition; SFO is payable over 11 months.
- Start-date rule: If a student's start date at the school is the 20th of the month or earlier, the full tuition for that month is payable. If the student starts on the 21st or later, tuition payments begin from the following month.
- Annual indexation: Tuition fees are adjusted each year on 1 April according to the index regulation calculated by Statistics Denmark. The published numbers available are marked as effective 1 January 2025 for the 2025/26 school year.
Sibling discounts
- The following discounts apply to tuition when multiple children are enrolled:
- 10% discount for the second child.
- 20% discount for the third child.
- 30% discount for the fourth child and any subsequent children.
Boarding fees
- North Zealand International School does not publish boarding fees and is a day-school model; no boarding fees are listed in the school's published fee schedule.
Other costs and typical additional charges
- SFO holiday care fees: DKK 250 for holiday care in Autumn Break (week 42) and DKK 250 for the full summer holiday period (weeks 27–28 and 31–32) when applicable. Svanereden is closed during summer holiday weeks 29 and 30 for 2025/26.
- Small additional charges may be billed during the year for excursions, events and similar activities for SFO and for the school.
- The published fee schedule does not itemise uniform costs, examination fees, textbooks, specialist trips or optional extracurricular fees; these items are not listed in the published school-fees document.
Refunds and withdrawal
- The OpenApply registration fee of DKK 2,000 is non-refundable.
- Deposit policy: once an offer is accepted and a deposit is paid to secure a place, if the learner subsequently does not start at the school the deposit will not be refunded.
- Withdrawal notice: a written withdrawal form must be given to the Front Office one full calendar month in advance; if the school terminates the collaboration, tuition fees will cease at the end of the current month.

- The school's published fee pages and the admissions (OpenApply) pages provide the fee amounts, billing rules, registration and admission fees, sibling discounts and withdrawal rules but do not specify standard payment methods (for example bank transfer, credit card, direct debit) on the public fee pages. Parents should note that payment-method details are not listed in the public fee document.
