Two learning streams with a parallel curriculum model. In the final two years, students study the Austrian National Curriculum alongside the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. English is a parallel instructional language, with some subjects taught bilingually by native English-speaking staff. Language tracks include Stream 1: Year 1 English; Year 3 French; Year 5 Latin; from Year 6 Spanish or Italian as electives. The school provides school psychological counseling for pupils, parents and teachers to support social and emotional issues such as exam anxiety, problems in class, overload, bullying, and individual crises. After an initial consultation, solutions are developed and support is provided to implement the recommended measures, including coordination with external experts.

International School Innsbruck provides further support classes for international students.

In the classes of the International School, English is integrated into various subjects. This occurs through interaction with native English-speaking staff who are present year-round and international students enrolled in the Gymnasium.

For admission to Year 1 classes in the 2026/27 school year, registration in person is required at the AGI office on the first floor during the registration period from Monday, 16 February 2026 through Friday, 27 February 2026. The registration period is held at the AGI office, and the daily times are posted for each day. Please bring: Year 3 Report (Original and Copy); Year 4 Semester Report (Original and Copy); Proof of the child's residency from your local city or council (ZMR); and a completed registration form. Having both originals and copies helps expedite the process, and ensure documents are up to date and legible.
