Royal High School Bath is a girls’ day and boarding school in Bath, South West England, for students aged 9 to 18. The school was formed in 1998 from the merger of the Royal School, opened in 1865, and Bath High School, opened in 1875. Students follow a British curriculum pathway, with GCSE study and a Sixth Form offering A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Boarding is available from Years 7 to 13, with full, weekly and flexible options. The school’s 2026/27 fees range from GBP 15,966 annually for Years 5–6 day pupils to GBP 48,606 annually for Sixth Form full boarding. A distinctive feature is that Royal High Bath is the only GDST school offering boarding. Facilities and programmes highlighted by the school include the Steinway Music School, boarding houses, transport routes, outdoor learning, Sixth Form pathways and a planned Middle School structure from September 2026.
