Kisubi High School offers a bespoke curriculum within a boarding environment that supports students from diverse backgrounds. New entrants undergo baseline tests to identify gaps, with targeted interventions for continuing students, and a Game Changers program providing intensive support for S.3 and S.5 learners. Continuous professional development for teachers aligns instruction with ministry guidance, while Performance Learning is embedded in the High School's academic sections. The school has been operating for seven years and is guided by a motto of outstanding education for a successful future. It emphasises a faith-integrated approach and families are encouraged to engage through an open-door policy. Facilities include a shared sports field with Kisubi High School, a dedicated space for music, dance and drama, and indoor games such as chess, badminton and scrabble. A co-curricular program features football, netball, volleyball and rugby, plus clubs like Coding, Science and Technology, and the Kisubi Knights chess club.

The school has a Pastoral Boarding and Community Engagement (PBC) office that oversees student welfare/wellbeing. The pastoral team is headed by the Deputy Pastoral and includes both teaching and non-teaching staff. The focus areas include general wellbeing, spiritual wellbeing, mental/psychological wellbeing, physical wellbeing, social wellbeing, and skills development. Mental/psychological wellbeing is provided by a full-time school counsellor who runs sessions and counsels students in groups and as individuals. Social wellbeing is supported through Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) sessions and the House system, which fosters belonging; co-curricular activities and sports also help develop social skills and teamwork.
The school has a full-time counsellor who plans and delivers sessions focused on mental health and stability. The counsellor meets students in groups and individually to provide counselling and advice tailored to their needs. The sessions cover strategies for mental resilience and wellbeing, helping students stay mentally stable. The Pastoral care framework places emphasis on mental wellbeing as a core component of student welfare.
Safeguarding and student welfare are anchored in the Pastoral Boarding and Community Engagement (PBC) office, which leads the school's welfare efforts. The Deputy Pastoral heads the pastoral team, which comprises both teaching and non-teaching staff. Health services are provided by the school nurses, who offer first aid, treat illnesses, and monitor chronic conditions. Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) sessions address personal and social health, and the House system plus the tutor network provide daily welfare oversight and a sense of belonging.
1. The school requires a fully filled Admission (New students) form signed by the parent, guardian and student. A Medical examination form is also required, along with 2 photocopies of the result slip from the previous school and 3 passport photos. These documents enable the school to review the applicant's prior records and readiness for Kisubi High School. 2. The school charges fees according to the Fees Structure: Admission Fees 85,000 UGX; Baseline tests for S.2 and S.3 20,000 UGX; Functional fee 150,000 UGX; and boarding or day fees depending on the programme. All fees must be paid in advance not less than a week before the term starts; if a full term's fees cannot be paid, a written payment plan approved by the Headteacher must be signed. All school fees are non-refundable. 3. Uniforms are required; each student must have at least two sets of the school uniform. Uniforms are sold on campus and may not be purchased elsewhere. Uniforms for different levels are available in the specified ranges. 4. Personal Requirements (For new and Existing students) include items such as enough toothpaste, towel, bed sheets, mattress, mosquito net, night dress, open shoes, canvas shoes, calculator, graph books, and other essentials. The school lists a Bible for Christians and a Quran for Muslims and requires 4 pairs of navy blue socks for boys. A comprehensive list covers many items; banned items include private lamps, jewellery, narcotics, alcohol or cigarettes, foods from outside of school premises, tights and hoodies, etc.
