Greenhill International School (GIS) is part of the Greenhill Schools network in Uganda, established in 1994 with campuses in Buwaate, Kansanga, and Kibuli. GIS offers the Cambridge International Curriculum to learners aged 4 to 15, including Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, and Cambridge IGCSE. The school serves ages 2 to 18 as a Christian international day school, blending Cambridge standards with Ugandan context and Christian values. Submit Application: Complete our online application form or visit our admissions office to submit your application in person. This initial step starts the admissions process and provides the school with your child's basic information. The next steps include an age-appropriate assessment of your child's learning needs to guide placement and planning.
Assessment: Your child will participate in an age-appropriate evaluation to inform classroom placement and support planning for your child's education. Results help tailor the learning experience and identify supports where needed. The assessment is a prerequisite for the subsequent interview and enrollment steps.
Interview: Meet with our school leadership team to discuss your expectations and learn more about our programs. The conversation offers an opportunity to share your child's strengths, needs, and goals. The leadership team will provide details about GIS programs, pastoral care, and campus life. The interview helps both sides determine fit for GIS.
Enrollment: Upon acceptance, complete the registration process and prepare for an exciting educational journey. This step confirms your child's place and initiates fee arrangements and administrative setup. The school will outline next steps for start dates and enrollment documentation.
The school offers merit-based scholarships and financial aid to qualifying students. Scholarship applications are reviewed at the beginning of each academic year.
