AISJ is in the Mohammadiyah District of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The campus moved to a purpose-built site in January 2019. The campus offers extensive facilities, including two libraries, a 650-seat theatre, two gymnasiums, indoor and outdoor tracks, a full-length soccer field, a shaded swimming pool, an aerobics room, and tennis courts. AISJ serves students from Pre-K through Grade 12. The school is organized with an Early Childhood program (PK2/PK3/PK4), followed by Elementary School, Middle School, and High School divisions. This includes a Preschool stage, Elementary, Middle, and High School as part of the same campus.
AISJ is a co-educational, day international school. It is not a boarding school.

On other days, the day ends later (Pre-K 8:00–2:30; KG 8:00–3:00; Grades 1–12 8:00–3:00).
AISJ does not offer a school bus service. Parents arrange transportation, and campus entry by vehicles is limited to those with AISJ IDs or vehicle stickers for safety.

AISJ delivers a standards-based American international education for Pre-K through Grade 12, anchored in the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards and mapped using the Understanding by Design framework on Atlas Rubicon. The language of instruction is English, with AISJ also offering Arabic language programs and English-language learning support as part of its curriculum. In Early Childhood, AISJ uses the American Creative Curriculum with PK2–PK4 units of exploration, emphasizing hands-on, play-based learning and integrated early literacy, math, science, and social studies. Elementary core subjects are aligned to Common Core and AERO standards (literacy and math), with science and social studies taught through NGSS/AERO standards, and specialist classes in STEAM, music, information technology, native Arabic, Arabic as a Foreign Language, Islamic Studies, and Arabic culture. Middle School emphasizes hands-on, inquiry-based learning with an Innovation Lab and Week Without Walls. In High School, AISJ offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses for Grades 9–12, including the full AP Capstone Diploma program and the AP International Diploma (APID); AISJ is an IB World School authorized to offer the Diploma Programme since June 11, 2022, providing an IB pathway alongside AP options.
AISJ delivers social and emotional learning through a universal Counseling & Social-Emotional Learning program, delivered by the school division, with targeted group and individual counseling for concerns such as anxiety and peer relations.
AISJ supports learners with mild to moderate learning differences and may place some students in Special Day Classes with modified curricula; an Individual Learning Plan documents each student's needs, and a personal learning coach may be required for continuing enrollment.

After submission, you can track admissions status by logging in, print the completed application, and monitor when supplemental forms are received. All documents must be in English; if a document is in another language, translate it to English by a certified translator before submission. Saudi nationals must obtain permission to attend AISJ from the Ministry of Education; for students transferring from abroad, leave certificates and/or reports must be stamped by the Saudi Embassy or Consulate-General, and the Grade Equivalence form must be attested by AISJ.
AISJ accepts applications year-round with no deadlines, and spaces may be limited. If a grade level is full, applicants are placed on a waitlist.
