King David Academy is an established international school in Kigali, Rwanda, founded in 2000. The school offers Cambridge, BTEC, and IB programmes, integrating a diverse range of international qualifications with the Rwanda National Curriculum for Senior 1 to Senior 6. In practice, students follow Ordinary Level (S1–S3) and Advanced Level (S4–S6) examinations, alongside Cambridge Secondary 1 and 2 (IGCSE) for ages 11–16 and Cambridge AS and A Levels for ages 16–19. All subjects are taught in English, including Mathematics, the Sciences, English, French and Kinyarwanda; Literature in English and Computing are non-examinable. The campus features science laboratories, a music centre, theatre and a sports ground, plus well‑equipped computer laboratories connected by high‑speed fibre. A library supports independent study. The Rwanda National Curriculum is offered for Senior 1 to Senior 6, with Ordinary Level (S1–S3) and Advanced Level (S4–S6) national examinations. Cambridge A Level is treated as a pre-university year providing university readiness in the UK and Europe. The school is now an IB Diploma Programme School, working toward full authorization. The IB Diploma is recognized by top universities around the world.

Student Admissions: The Office of Admission processes applications and provides attention, responsiveness, and care to families. Children are accepted and placed in appropriate grades/classes without discrimination with regard to gender, race, religion or nationality. The Class Teacher and Director of Academics, in consultation with the Principal, participate in admissions. The school offers both local and Cambridge programs, with Cambridge, BTEC, and IB options. The general fee structure for the 2025-2026 intake covers Cambridge programs (G7–G10) with termly school fees of 1,050,000 Frw, uniforms 200,000 Frw, registration 50,000 Frw, identity card 5,000 Frw, and medical first aid 2,000 Frw (total 1,307,000 Frw); Cambridge A-Level (G11–12) with termly 1,100,000 Frw, uniforms 200,000 Frw, registration 50,000 Frw, identity card 5,000 Frw, medical 2,000 Frw (total 1,357,000 Frw). Pearson BTEC Level II (G10) has 1,050,000 Frw school fees per term, 200,000 Frw uniforms, 100,000 Frw registration, 5,000 Frw identity card, 2,000 Frw medical, and 500 USD Pearson Registration. Pearson BTEC Level III (G11–12) has 1,250,000 Frw school fees per term, 200,000 Frw uniforms, 100,000 Frw registration, 5,000 Frw identity card, 2,000 Frw medical, and 700 USD Pearson Registration. Nursery (Tiny Tot – KG II) has 700,000 Frw school fees, 100,000 Frw uniforms, 35,000 Frw registration, 5,000 Frw identity card, 2,000 Frw medical (total 842,000 Frw).
