The San Juan campus operates as a single-gender boys' day school, historically serving male students. Xavier School Nuvali is co-educational.
The San Juan campus has a Learning Resource Center to support student learning; it provides library and learning supports as part of the school's student services. Xavier School Nuvali also maintains a Learning Resource Center to support 21st-century learning needs. For SEN/EAL specifics, families should contact the admissions or resource centers for current provisions.

Xavier School San Juan teaches IB (DP).
Xavier School San Juan is a Jesuit, Catholic K-12 college-preparatory school with three levels: Early Education, Grade School, and High School. The medium of instruction is English and the school maintains a distinct Chinese-Filipino character with a core Chinese language program. The High School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Grades 11–12 as an IB World School. The DP curriculum includes a range of subjects across Groups, such as English A/Lit, Filipino, Chinese B, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Global Politics, and Computer Science, with May examinations. Xavier School also provides Xavier School E-Learning (XSEL) for online or hybrid learning and holds FAAP Level 3 accreditation.
Xavier School supports social and emotional learning through a formal formation and mentoring framework. The Mentoring Program, introduced in 2006, ensures every student from Grade 5 onward is known by at least one adult, with mentors who supervise about 12 students and are drawn from trained faculty and staff. The Study Hall Program for Grades 2–4 helps younger students develop study skills and peer relationships. The Campus Minister and School Chaplains provide spiritual formation and counseling, while the Guidance and Counseling Office coordinates student support under the Assistant Principal for Formation. These elements together foster holistic development and the principle of cura personalis in daily practice.
The Grade School Handbook does not describe a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) program or a specialist SEN unit. It lists the Office of Disciplinary Services, Guidance and Counseling Office, and Campus Ministry as key support structures under the supervision of the Assistant Principal for Formation, but there is no public description of a formal SEN department or identified SEN categories. The school clearly prioritizes guidance, mentoring, and disciplinary supports rather than a specialized SEN framework. Consequently, Xavier School is not described as a specialist SEN institution in public documentation. Public materials emphasize formation, counseling, and safeguarding mechanisms instead of defined SEN services.
The school teaches in English; the International Baccalaureate page for Xavier School Philippines notes English as the language of instruction. There is also a Chinese language program integrated into the curriculum, including the Xavier China Experience (XCE), which exposes students to language, culture, and society abroad. No explicit EAL (English as an Additional Language) support program is described in public materials. As a result, explicit EAL provisions are not publicly disclosed, though English is the primary medium of instruction and Chinese language provision exists. The school's emphasis on English instruction and a Chinese program is documented publicly.
Mental wellbeing is supported through the Mentoring Program and Study Hall initiatives, plus access to the Guidance and Counseling Office under the Formation Office. The Campus Minister and Chaplains provide spiritual formation and counseling, contributing to emotional and social support. Formation Programs, including mentoring and related activities, prioritize personal development and the well-being of students. The School Administration explicitly positions guidance and spiritual services as part of the overall wellbeing framework, overseen by the Assistant Principal for Formation.
Safeguarding and child protection are supported by the Office of Disciplinary Services (ODS), led by the Prefect of Discipline, which oversees the implementation of school rules and coordinates with other support offices. A Disciplinary Board handles serious cases and includes the Assistant Principal for Formation, a middle-level administrator, a parent-chosen teacher, and other school personnel; the Guidance Counselor and other staff may serve as resource persons. Disciplinary processes are described with confidentiality provisions and formal procedures for investigations, notices, and appeals. The Campus Minister and Chaplains provide spiritual safeguarding, while the Campus Ministry and Counseling offices support student safety and wellbeing as part of a holistic approach to protection and formation.

Grant-in-Aid (GIA) is Xavier School's need-based financial assistance program. It can provide up to 100% subsidy for tuition, books, supplies, and miscellaneous fees. The program is available to current Xavier School students, new admissions (including Kindergarten), and transferees, subject to financial need, satisfactory academic standing, and disciplinary status. The application process requires a letter of intent, an accomplished GIA form, and other required documents, plus a home visit and a personal interview when deemed necessary. Approved scholarships are renewed on a yearly basis. For SY 2026-2027, GIA applications for new students are available after the release of admissions results, with a submission deadline of May 31, 2026; renewal by old grantees and current applicants occurs in mid-October 2025. Renewal decisions consider ongoing financial need and performance. In Xavier School Nuvali, similar GIA provisions apply; Nuvali lists the same grant structure and timelines, with distinct local contact points and a separate Nuvali schedule for application and renewal.
There is no published waitlist or pool system described for Xavier School admissions.
