Scuola Materna Cattolica Internazionale (SCMI) is a small Catholic school in Luxembourg City for children aged 3 to 6. It offers a bilingual education in English, French and Italian, with combinations Italian-English, Italian-French or French-English, and is approved by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale, de l'Enfance et de la Jeunesse. Following the European Early Education program, the school delivers a bilingual curriculum across three languages and uses rituals, media and a range of activities—nature, cooking, and hands-on projects—to engage all senses. Core skills include mother tongue and foreign language development, mathematics, science and technology, social and civic development, and a focus on learning how to learn, with Catholic teachings integrated throughout. The setting beside the Petrusse offers access to outdoor spaces: a playground and a garden for outings and exploration, plus an in-house kitchen serving fresh, healthy foods. The small size and intercultural, faith-based atmosphere support individualized growth and well-being.
