The school supports social-emotional development by fostering a positive working and learning attitude and encouraging willingness to learn and task responsibility. Students are encouraged to interact respectfully with adults and peers, cooperate with others, and follow instructions.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is provided when a child speaks a language other than English. EAL support is delivered through music and movement, storytelling and lessons, and the Total Physical Response method is used in daily activities to help students feel confident using English. Primary School (Grade 1–6) requires a Registration Fee of IDR 500,000, a Submission Fee of IDR 14,400,000 per year, and Tuition of IDR 17,100,000 per term (four terms per year: July, October, January, April); these amounts must be paid in advance for six years. Secondary School (Grade 7–12) defines multiple year options: Grade 7–9 (three years) requires a Submission Fee of IDR 31,700,000 per year; Grade 7–10 (four years) requires a Submission Fee of IDR 30,250,000 per year; Grade 10–12 (three years) requires a Submission Fee of IDR 33,500,000 per year; Grade 11–12 (two years) requires a Submission Fee of IDR 33,500,000 per year. SVP Scholarship is an external student scholarship programme offered to new students who may enrol at SVP. Eligible students can be in MYP or DP. Requirements include a portfolio of exemplary academic reports and certificates of achievement in academics, sport, leadership or community service; top placements (1st or 2nd) in international competitions or national Olympiads; participation in SVP events such as the Innovation Fair; written references from school leaders or coaches; and a five-minute video addressing: why the student should receive a scholarship, how they demonstrate the IB learner profile attributes or Champion Mindset, why international mindedness is important, and what the student can contribute to SVP now and in the future. Applications are reviewed by the school committee, which includes Principals, the School Director, and a Management Advisor, and a recommendation is made to the Yayasan regarding the scholarship percentage.
