The Clover School High Park Campus is a Canadian Montessori school serving children from 18 months to 12 years across two historic brick-clad campuses at 411 Clendenan Avenue and 250 Annette Street in Toronto. The school offers Montessori curriculum with a bespoke program, and provides Toddler, Pre-Primary, Primary, and Elementary experiences designed to support independent, self-directed learning. The campuses emphasize mixed-age classrooms, uninterrupted work time, concrete, experiential learning, and peer-to-peer teaching under expert teachers, fostering concentration, self-regulation, and leadership from an early age. High Park Campuses are in the High Park neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario. The campuses occupy two historic brick-clad buildings on tree-lined residential streets near High Park. The Clendenan Campus is at 411 Clendenan Ave and the Annette Campus is at 250 Annette St, Toronto, ON M6P 2X7 and M6P 1R1. The Clover School values social emotional learning as part of its Heart pillar. Social-emotional learning is highlighted as a core part of the Clover Code, promoting individuality, authenticity, courage, compassion and self-awareness. Mindfulness and social intelligence are part of the signature curriculum's four-fold measure of success: academic mastery, creative thinking, mindfulness and social intelligence, and positive connectedness. The school fosters wellbeing in every sense through arts, nature-based learning, outdoor education, and urban farming. Daily mindfulness practice is incorporated into each Clover classroom as part of the Health pillar. Health emphasizes conscious and healthful living, including nutrition, physical exercise, self-love, confidence and respect. The admissions process helps you learn about our Montessori programming and allows us to get to know your child. See the school in action by visiting while classes are in session and come prepared with questions.
2. Admissions.
Admission into all programs is on a first-come first-served basis. Returning and former students, their siblings, and those previously enrolled have priority over new applicants. Enrollment aims to balance classes by age and gender identity.
3. Elementary assessment.
New families applying to the Elementary Program (Grades 1–6) may be asked to have an assessment/interview/visit to determine suitability. The assessment helps Clover School understand your child.
4. Paperwork.
After applying, provide additional paperwork such as past report cards and any educational/behavioural assessments.
5. Enrollment.
You can enroll at any grade. Prior Montessori experience is not required. We look for students and families who fit the community culture and values of progressive thinking and lifelong learning.
6. Waitlist.
Applications fill up quickly and will be placed on a wait list in order of application dates. Families are contacted when an opening is available.
7. Apply Online.
After meeting, you'll be invited to apply through the portal. If you can't tour, a phone call can answer questions before applying. A one-time $500 application fee is required and must be received before processing.
