The school integrates the Brazilian national curriculum with international programs, delivering bilingual instruction in English and Portuguese. It offers International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs, including IB Primary Years through the Diploma Program, the only IB continuum in the Northeast of Brazil. In high school, students may pursue only the Brazilian curriculum or continue concurrently with the IBDP, earning both diplomas. The school is part of Inspired Education, and operates two modern campuses in Salvador (Federação and Pituba).
Specialist university guidance helps students select courses and navigate admissions. 90% of Inspired students are admitted to the university of their choice worldwide, and a third of them secure places at Ivy League institutions or the Russell Group.
Extensive enrichment opportunities include robotics, Model United Nations, academic Olympiads, a student film festival, and other extracurricular programs. The school emphasizes participation in sports, arts, and diplomacy, with after-school coaching and competition preparation.
Land School emphasizes social and emotional learning as part of a holistic education. Students develop communication, self-awareness, self-control, adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. The programs support students' social and emotional needs. The school fosters a global mindset and aims to prepare students to live and work anywhere in the world. It emphasizes public speaking, teamwork, leadership, and diplomacy through activities such as Land Talks and Model United Nations.
Personalized pedagogical guidance is provided by qualified professionals. The school also offers social-emotional support from trained staff. This combination supports students to excel in both curricular and extracurricular pursuits.
The school provides bilingual instruction in English and Portuguese. Students achieve native-level fluency in both English and Portuguese. Spanish and French are offered as extracurricular languages. English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is available via a club for students not yet at the expected English proficiency, with participation identified and recommended by the pedagogical team.
Academic knowledge alone is not sufficient for success in the 21st century. To ensure a happy and fulfilling life, students must understand the environment they live in and navigate it effectively. Skills such as communication, self-awareness, self-control, adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration are essential for personal and professional success. Our programs go beyond academics to develop these future-focused skills while supporting students' social and emotional needs. We teach students to care for their bodies; physical well-being positively affects mental well-being, academic results, and individual performance, and students adopt a healthy, active lifestyle.
1. Visit us. Schedule an individual meeting at a time convenient for you. An admissions team member presents the school's bilingual education approach and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs, followed by a personalized campus tour of either the Federation or Pituba campus. Parents/guardians meet with the Coordination and Pedagogical Leadership for an open dialogue about the school's philosophy and expectations. The visit helps families understand how Land School integrates a national curriculum with IB programs within two campuses in Salvador.
2. Applications. Parents may proceed with enrollment before scheduling a visit by completing the online application forms for the Federation Campus and the Pituba Campus. Completing the forms initiates the admissions process and can be done at any time. After submission, admissions staff will follow up with next steps.
3. Interview and Admission Exams. Interviews provide an opportunity for families and the admissions team to get to know each other, understand family expectations, and gather information about the student's history. They help align the school's values and mission with the family's, and admission exams may be part of the process.
4. Reserve your spot. After the visit, parents who wish to continue with enrollment must reserve a spot. The admissions team will send a link to pay the spot-reservation fee. This step secures a place while final enrollment arrangements are completed.
5. Enrollment and admission. To finalize enrollment, sign the contract and pay the first monthly payment. The contract outlines the terms of enrollment and the payment schedule.
