The European School Strasbourg is a public local institution of international education (EPLEI) serving pupils from age 4 to 18. It operates in Strasbourg's European Quarter with three linguistic sections: German-speaking, English-speaking and French-speaking, delivering the European School curriculum with identical syllabuses across sections. Nursery to primary to S7 culminate in the European Baccalaureate, a qualification recognised across the EU and in many other countries; the Examining Board is chaired by a university professor and includes examiners from EU countries. The school began in 2008, moved to its current site in 2015 and has been an EPLEI since 2019 under the European School Office standards, awarding the Baccalaureate.
